Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Why why why do we beat ourselves. Hope did a great job having us prepared just didn't execute enough. The effort is there just not the execution.

Adams didn't even need to jump on the conversion, ball was at his face. If he keeps his feet it's good.

You can definitely see the difference with Hope at the helm. Joey had some bad mistakes that frankly cost us the game. But he didn't give up, seemed to have a lot of fire. Tough place to play.

Bottom line is.....different coach, better effort, but same old Purdue disappointment.

something extremely positive for me was seeing Hope on the sidelines with EMOTION. Tiller never seemed to have any.

Bob,

Joey is a better leader but has no experience. He made a few horrible decisions but also shows leadership. He has no D Bryant or 4 years of fucking up loke Painter did.

Agreed. He leads by example and seems to want it more. Part of that may just have been Curtis' personality, but i really like seeing Joey's fire.

As pissed as I am right now about the loss, this team is way better than I expected. With the way the Big 10 is this year, 7 wins is not out of the question. Alot of positives can come out of this loss. The biggest IMO is the heart this team showed Purdue teams in the past would have crumbled and got beat by 21.

I agree we made clutch plays but also bone headed plays. They showed heart and fought hard just made to many mistakes.

I think if they cut down on the mistakes 8-4 is still an option probably 6-6 they remind me of the 2002 team

There is a reason that Painter started in front of Joey for 4 years.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel
