We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. I've heard three reviews of it, and they've all be very positive from reliable friends. Anyone here gotten a chance to see it? I mostly posted this because I was tired of seeing the Killers Concert thread still popping up on the main page. |

Yup, saw it a few weeks ago. Wasn't what I expected at all. I had heard that it was so heavy-handed with its focus on immigration that it took over a lot of the movie. If that's true, I missed it with all the exploding heads. Highly entertaining, extremely gorgeous, acceptable story. |

an EXCELLENT film. One of the best of the year. Peter Jackson's protege learned a lot. This has a very independent feel to it. It's an original idea that pulls stunts reminiscent to Jackson's "Dead Alive" days. Go see it. Don't wait for it on DVD. This is a theater-experience type of movie. br |

I saw this a week or so ago, I enjoyed it. I would agree it should be seen in the theater and not wait for the DVD. |
![]() "Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed Meat is Murder. Sweet, delicious murder. | |

Don't know much about Moon, but my favorite sci-fi movie recently is Sunshine. Came out a few years ago, go no press, and I loved it. Not even entirely sure why, but I thought it was fricking awesome. |
