Likely he isn't even going to visit Indiana. Irving to Duke. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

lol That article has been updated, IU is officially out, not even going to get a visit. And people wonder why I think Peegs is full of shit. As of last week, IU was 60/40 for Irving and a leader all along. And in a week's time, they went from leader to not in the top 5? Either Tom Crean fucked this up and can't recruit or Mike Pegram is full of shit. |

Yep,..........all of them scratching their heads wondering why, now saying they don't want him if he doesn't want to part of the "tradition". I guess gerbilboy took the afternoon off. He'll need the whole weekend to come up with some new deflections. EDIT Here's a mature response; " Irving is a liar. He always said Indiana would be in it at the end. What a turd. I can't wish him well. I hope he's a bust." Edited by Bobobinc, Sep 18 2009, 01:17 PM.

I'd attribute it to the UB curse. You should have him guarantee that IU be below .500 next year. Wonder how long he hides after this one? Edited by BoilerBasketball2008, Sep 18 2009, 02:25 PM.

It just keeps getting better.... "I have never heard of an in-home visit go bad and that is apparently what happened. You don't visit a kid you was banking on Sunday and then Tuesday start recruiting a kid at the same position unless something went wrong. KI and his family know IU's system, know the coaches, and KI has been to Bloomington. There is only one thing that could of changed things...$$$$$$$$ and the only school that is high on his list that pays is UK. I wonder if World Wide Wes is involved some how" |
