Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

that's really the only bad coaching i saw, and if BV is right, that defensive coach better be running some laps tomorrow. haha.

if anything weis coached horribly, and was lucky to escape.

Prevent defense against Jimmy in that situation is gonna cost you the game. He's too good. Playing 15 yards off on the WRs.

Looked to me like Hope was just as flabbergasted as anyone when the clock stopped, so I really doubt that he's the one who called it.

The silver lining is that this loss will keep Dough-mer around a little longer.

This is about as good as they'll ever be with him coaching. If we can compete with them with what we have now, I like our chances of beating them in following years.

agreed-wait till we get 1 or 2 years of our new recruits in, we will be good again.

we lost, but they played tough.

Fuck it, we shouldn't have lost that game. Defense on the last drive was about 7 yards too soft, and the timeout was embarrasingly, irrationally stupid. If we get outplayed, sure, but losing because of coaching? What the fuck?!? Oh, and the 4 illegal formation penalties. That's all on the coaching staff too. Completely fucking unacceptable!

Hello we are 1 and fucking 3

Could easily be 3-1 we beat ourselves weekend and week out. I see no positives, we can not get over the hump and beat anyone. Penalties at the wrong time and random timeouts and passive D you see any of that as a positive?????

Horrible just flat out disappointing!!!!!!!!

I guess my expectations for this season were lower than some. I'm not happy, but not necessarily disappointed either. This is a rebuilding year. In a rebuilding year, it's about putting yourself in a position to win games...and maybe winning some of them. Even though it's early we haven't been able to win them. To me, this year is about showing some desire and competing. Based on what we have I think we've done well in that regard. The record may not show it, but we're already better than last year. Baby steps.

BV,

I hear what you are saying. That doesn't explain playing 10 yards of the receivers when Jimmie can't move. That doesn't explain a Timeout. That doesn't explain 0-6 stretch on third downs and what 12 penalties. Effort is there but execution was horrible. ND played like shit and we gifted the game to them. Blitz and they beat you ok but just letting them march down the field is unacceptable!!!!!

After watching that game I am only happy that I'm still in my mid 20's so I don't have a GD coronary. I love the suspense but would love for it to result in a win from time to time. And like everyone else I'm dumbfounded by the timeout call at the end of the game. What the fuck was that shit?
