I wouldn't sleep on Minnesota. They started awfully slow but seem to have improved with each game.
We could realistically lose the rest of the games we play.
I don't think so. Every team pulls in at least 1 victory most of the time and the Big Ten does not look very good right now.
I think we'll win 3-4 B10 games, but it also wouldn't shock me one bit if we lost all 8, especially if we continue to run the ball as ineffectively as we have the past 2 weeks. Teams will start to stack the box on early downs and then roll coverages to Smith, and make our other WRs beat them downfield on passing downs. I don't see any of our other WRs beating guys one-on-one down the field, and if they did, I don't think our QB can consistently make those throws. We're going to have to win most of our games while scoring 24 points.
you're winning 4 BT games with Hopeless as coach? good luck with that
Ron Zook, Tim Brewster, and Bill Lynch don't exactly scare me. And we get MSU and NW at home. I think we can win 3-4 of those games (which isn't impressive at all really). Kind of weird to think about the quality of coaches in Big Ten basketball compared to the lack thereof in football.

I think the key is going to be getting Bolden in open space...the middle of the line looked very pedestrian against Notre Dame and Bolden isn't going to run many people over. He's outstanding in the open field, so if they can at least scare teams with their passing game, the draw play is going to be there.

From what we've seen so far, much of the Big Ten appears to be MAC-caliber this year. A .500 conference record for Purdue is not out of the question. But then again, neither is 0-8.
