Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

LMAO. A couple of last-minute wins, over 1-3 teams, is all it takes to get the Kool-Aid kegs a flowing in Gomerland.

Hey, IU is 3-1 with their only loss being identical to Notre Dame's, a close one at the Big House. Anyone writing articles about how their win total is about to swell?

IU might be the best team in the state this year....based on what we've seen thus far.

"When the Irish came zipping down the field at the 11th hour to beat Purdue last weekend, you wondered who Joe Montana was going to throw to next."

lololololololol
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

I don't understand why superfans just can't be happy with progress. Notre Dame is better. Yay. And next year they will probably be better. But it's not that easy to skip the entire middle section on the way to becoming great. What an article like this does is put unfair expectations on a team that is improving, but is not elite. Why do they have to be either horrible or great? Can't they just be a decent team that is getting better?

IU basketball fans - Before you respond, read this post as if I was talking about Indiana basketball.

Yeah. Better than 2 years ago and quite possibly better than last year. They obviously look to be improving as a football team even if they aren't very good right now. I mean they were horrific before.

They are a little better than two years ago. But I'm certainly not seeing where they're any better than last year. The Gomers beat Purdue and Michigan both by three scores last season. This year, they lost to a slightly improved UM team and barely beat a rebuilding Purdue team...along with a close win over what appears to be a poor-to-average MSU team.

A couple of last-minute wins over 1-3 teams does not merit progress.
