Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

and is out for the year. Tough break for him and ND.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

He has not redshirted., he sat out a season per transfer rules. And last I heard, that does not affect a player's option to redshirt.

He could get a medical redshirt and still have a regular redshirt to use as well. That won't happen of course because then he'd have 3 full years away from the game. It will be hard enough for him being away for 2 straight years.

Still though, he'll never get to play to the Gody now.

If you don't use your redshirt season on your transfer year, you lose a year. He redshirted last year, and will more than likely get a medical redshirt year, and still have 3 left at ND.

That really sucks for Martin. It will be hard to come back next year after missing 2 straight years of play.

Also a major blow for Notre Dame. They were hoping to make up for last year's underachieving season, and transfers like Martin were going to be key.

IMO until ND makes some sort of commitment to defense, they're going to continue to struggle in the Big East and to even make the tournament. They try to run with the big boys, and they just don't have the athletes to compete, I think they need to try something different. And it'd be hard for them to dumb down their OOC schedule any more than it is.

That really sucks for him. Much as I hate ND football I do not feelthe same about ND basketball. I was looking forward to rooting against him. I would not wish something this bad against any player however.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed
