Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Here is an article that states that Purdue and Illinois are "neck and neck" as his leaders. He's visited a few times, is a great student, and is an AAU teammate with fellow 2011 target Chasson Randle.

Egwu
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

We sit well with all 3. Randle plays things pretty close to the vest, so its hard to tell with him. Dawson has said Purdue is a dream school and we were a leader at one point and hasn't stated anything has changed. Egwu has said we are one of two leaders. And while Randle hasn't said much, popular opinion (for whatever that is worth) is that its a Purdue/UI/Iowa State battle at this point.

But with recruiting, that could all change in the next day, week, or month so who knows. But Purdue is definitely sitting well those 3. That would be a home run class for Purdue.

I find it funny. I chuckle all the time thinking about it!

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

I'm not doing any bragging or claiming we are definitely going to get so and so (unlike you who did that with Irving, lol).

No moral victory if we don't land any of the three, and if we miss on Dawson, it'll be a HUGE loss.

Of course. Now, they are going after Selby....... who actually has connections to WWW, unlike Irving who just wasn't all that interested.

The very last moment? They aren't even going to get an official visit, and his recruitment is still going on. Its been a few weeks since IU's been dropped, thats not the last moment.

He's already visited Duke, and is going to visit A&M, UK, and Ga. Tech.

IU was AMONG the leaders, and that was a long, long time ago. There was never any proof that Irving had IU as his leader, that proved to be a bunch of BS. Congrats on finishing 7th!
