While other teams are doing intros and dunk contests, we're working on stuff that will help us win games. Its good for the fans, and not a bad thing at all, but I'm not too upset about it. Also, didn't realize that Bade was already up to 235 and that Marcius is 250. At least we'll be bigger on the front line this year. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Midnight Madness is all about recruiting. Not sure where Purdue stands on recruits. |

2010 class is complete, and our biggest 2011 recruits have been to campus many times (Dawson, Randle, and Plumlee). And we only have two spots for 2011. 2012 we only have one spot I believe and a player already committed. I understand its positives, but I'd much rather our team get in a solid 2 hour practice like they did today and get actual work done. |

Excuse? We didn't have one because of construction to Mackey. And I'm not really upset, I'd rather them get better. And there are much more exciting things to do on a Friday night at Purdue than watch a basketball practice. |

They had some of IU's on their Friday Night Tailgate because they are in town for the football game this weekend. |

One practice isn't going to make a difference in a team's preparation. It's a nice thought, but irrelevant. I had a blast at last year's Mackey Madness. If I was on campus and it was going on, I'd definitely be there on a Friday night. There's a lot of weekend nights, but not too many beginnings of basketball seasons. |

Didn't realize there was no MM this year. There is nowhere else they could have had it? I think it would have been cool to go to an old school small gym like IU did all the time during the barnstorming tour. |

Well, we do need more time to work on our bounce passes and off the ball screens. |

The two hour practice will keep LewJack off the streets and out of Illinois, I guess. |

This is a really bad argument. But congrats on your football win today guys. They said on BTN that this will be Purdue's first win since 2004 against a team that finishes the season with a winning record. The guy was stammering and saying BCS team, but I took this to mean FBS. Is this true? It doesn't seem like it is accurate, but I don't want to do the research. |
