Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

what a great fucking play!!!!!! Good job hope.

it just lacked execution
Hope doesn't call the plays.
Last time i checked, he chooses his coordinators.
lol

Well, Burke hired Hope who hired the coordinators. Should we blame Burke for everything? Or how about the President of the University who hired Burke 15 or so years ago?
lol

You think Hope had NO IDEA they were gonna do a retarded trick play in that situation. If he's just letting the O-Coordinator and D-Coordinator have at it, why the hell even have him?

So you just blame the head coach for everything? That makes zero sense. It's the offensive coordinators job to call plays, and he made a bad one. How hard is it to see that?

We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

55 yards into the wind?

And he was pretty damn close to hitting the 52 yarder earlier.

The O-coordinator calls the plays and everything sure. HC cant do everything. But he can say, um no, don't do a stupid ass trick play in the situation, because having a back RB throw the ball in the redzone against a top defense is dumb.

we are up some bad choices where made. Bottom line we are still in the game and ahead at the half. 6 points off three turnovers not productive. The D is playing well.

Do you think every play runs through the head coach?

Don't think you'll ever see a strange a half as that.

Purdue has had 47 plays...and thrown 35 passes. 3 Ohio State turnovers, 2 Purdue turnovers; Ohio State has only 4 first downs, Purdue 14; Purdue leads TOP 24 minutes to 9 minutes; 9-7 Purdue at half thanks to a 55 yard FG into the wind.

The D has played pretty well in every game but the Northern Illinois game. Definitely good enough for us to win more than the one game we have won so far.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the 2009 Purdue Boilermakers for you!!!

The 1st half of the NW game was pretty weird too.

I think most red zone plays are. If not, they should be. And situations involving trick plays, like the WR pass in the oregon game, I can almost guarantee goes thru the head coach.

LOL

I'll blame ESPN gamecast...they have the first half TOP as Ohio State 9:01, Purdue 23:23.

See, the last field goal was so long it crossed the cross bar 3 minutes and 24 seconds after the horn.
