LMAO. Hope has only coached seven games, and already has more quality wins in his career than Dough-mer. On with the excuses. |

Actually, for as good as he is, I'd never want that guy as my team's QB. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

The guy picked last in gym class

This side turned into a partially ND one when iwish trolled it up. The posts talking about ND are meant for fans like him, not you. At this point I'm just glad to see the joker Lou Holtz blow his whole 'ND in the title game' comment out of his ass. I have no idea how a guy who can't say the letter S and adds nothing but homer comments can keep a job with ESPN. |

Wow. I forget, which team do you root for: Purdue or IU? Last I look, there was no Iwish forum here. |

Serious question - Why not? And i wasn't referring to you, you may not be a fan of his, but i have never seen you hate on him either - at least not this year. Edited by hoosierinhogville, Oct 18 2009, 09:10 AM.

How do you determine "quality?" Do you go by the rankings when the teams play? Do you go by the end of the year rankings? Or, is it something more subjective, like your opinion? ND beat #5 Michigan in the Big House during Weis' first year. Now granted that team ended up going 7-4 during the regular season that year, but you can't blame ND for that. Ohio St was #7 when you guys played them, but what will they end up? 4 of their last 5 games are Minn, @Penn State, Iowa, and @Mich. I could see them losing 2 of those games with the way they have been playing, to equal 2005 Mich's 4 loses. My point here is that i wouldn't be crowing about quality win's just yet. If OSU wins out and goes o the Rose Bowl, then you can talk. |

He's a little too arrogant and cocky for my liking. Just like it makes me want to throw up every Jeff Samardizja takes the mound for the Cubs. I don't like the guy, never will. Has nothing to with going to Notre Dame, it has to do with being arrogant and annoying. |

Quality win is a team that finishes in the top 15. If OSU finishes 7-5 like '05 Michigan, Hope's count will return to zero. But for now: Hope 1 Dough-mer 0 |

Well, aren't you defining 'quality' by a loss to USC which, despite their high ranking, really doesn't look much better than Ohio State? The major difference in this week's upcoming ranking will be that Purdue sealed the deal and Notre Dame didn't. Would you really be shocked to see USC lose a couple more regular season games? I fully expect them to lose at Oregon. In terms of Clausen, absolutely I'd like to have him. Don't know where cam is getting the 'cocky and arrogant' comment on Sam or Clausen. It doesn't seem to stop Cam for routing for Chris Kramer. |

I am not defining "quality", i am defining improvement. There is a difference. And yes i could see USC losing another game or two, but based on past history i doubt it. That doesn't really have to do with the here and now though. I think Cam gets his arrogant stuff from JC's College Football hall of fame announcement ceremony and some of the stuff he said early on in his career. He did come across as awfully cocky then. That was 3 years ago though, and everything i have seen of him here lately shows a guy that has matured a lot both on and off the field. I certainly wouldn't call him cocky anymore, at least not anymore than any other starting QB on a college level. |
