Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

LMAO. Hope has only coached seven games, and already has more quality wins in his career than Dough-mer.

On with the excuses.
How do you determine "quality?" Do you go by the rankings when the teams play? Do you go by the end of the year rankings? Or, is it something more subjective, like your opinion?

ND beat #5 Michigan in the Big House during Weis' first year. Now granted that team ended up going 7-4 during the regular season that year, but you can't blame ND for that. Ohio St was #7 when you guys played them, but what will they end up? 4 of their last 5 games are Minn, @Penn State, Iowa, and @Mich. I could see them losing 2 of those games with the way they have been playing, to equal 2005 Mich's 4 loses.
My point here is that i wouldn't be crowing about quality win's just yet. If OSU wins out and goes o the Rose Bowl, then you can talk.
Well, aren't you defining 'quality' by a loss to USC which, despite their high ranking, really doesn't look much better than Ohio State? The major difference in this week's upcoming ranking will be that Purdue sealed the deal and Notre Dame didn't. Would you really be shocked to see USC lose a couple more regular season games? I fully expect them to lose at Oregon.

In terms of Clausen, absolutely I'd like to have him. Don't know where cam is getting the 'cocky and arrogant' comment on Sam or Clausen. It doesn't seem to stop Cam for routing for Chris Kramer.
Brum,

if you think DC is a homer with his defense of coaches take a step back because Kramer that selfish Priss is DC favorite of all time person to defend.

Kramer is good, and i wouldn't call him selfish....

but part of the reason he's a good defender is attributed to him being a annoying prick (effective on defense when u annoy the shit outta someone). And him walking around Purdue football games his sophomore year with his "CK3" hat was pretty arrogant.

Arrogance is certainly a possibility with Kramer. Though he shows very little confidence in his jump shot throughout most of his career. But some of his actions on the court could support the label.

Selfish? Ummm, not so much. Definitely not seeing that one.

I could care less how they are off the field, I'm talking on the field. Jimmy certainly likes to showboat. His whole post-TD pass act is annoying. I've seen him stare down opposing players/sidelines after a TD. I just don't personally like it.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

ddums isn't bothered in the least by players that get drunk, smoke pot, hit and run and act like assholes though.

staring down an opposing player is far more offensive

Do I like it? Hell, no. But people make mistakes. If they learn from them and get better for it, then they deserve a second chance.

Guarantee there isn't a player in IU's basketball program in the past 20 years that hasn't drank alcohol, and I'd bet the large majority have smoked pot before.

here's the difference butt boy; drinking in one's apartment is far different than getting behind a wheel, hitting someone and then leaving.

same goes for the idiot that smokes pot, drives and gets caught by cops

you aren't bright

Everyone in college football is presumed better than Dough-mer...until proven other-weis.

Funny how Hope gets a quality win midway through his first season. Dough-mer still has none.

weis also hasn't lost to Northern Ill at HOME, MN, Northwestern AT HOME either.

the Whistle getting one decent win doesn't all of a sudden make him a better coach than someone with 3 SB rings as an offensive coordinator.

and who won the ND/Turdue game at TURDUE?

Dough-mer did lose home games to Syracuse and Navy...WITH HIS VERY OWN PLAYERS.

LMAO @ using SB rings under Bellicheat to justify Dough-mer.

Congrats on that monster three point win at 2-5 Purdue. Definitely evidence of a Gomer team that is "closing the gap".

give me a 3 time SB winning NFL coach over a D2 scrub ANYDAY. keep talking up the Whistle

and ND beat turdue AT Turdue without their best WR, starting RB and Clausen only play a quarter and half.

even if Clausen plays the entire game, ND wins by 21+
