Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Purdue SHOULD beat Illinois... but they play the games for that reason. Regardless of what UnbiasedGay says, some of us with knowledge realize the situation Purdue is in. Hope doesn't seem too bad so far.

I don't see ND losing to BC after losing to USC last week... but you never know.

go Purdue! And go BC. But first and foremost, go Purdue. We only need to win four of the last five to play in whatever the hell they call the detriot bowl, or the poulan weedeater bowl now.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Trap game implies we would be expecting to win this game going into it. I don't think this team expects to win much of anything, regardless of who we beat last week.

Purdue - 27
Illinois - 14

A huge turnover on special teams early gives Illinois the confidence to figure out how to play with all their talent.

Illinois 27 - Purdue 20

Hope I'm wrong

Illinois is probably the worst team we've played thus far...including Toledo. One of two things will happen:

a) The team will have a letdown and play complacent football...and will try to give the game away.

b) The team will be on an emotional high and use the OSU win as a springboard to play just as well...or better than last week.

I'll go with answer "b".

Purdue 38
Illinois 13

Trap game? No way-we dominate this game. Ill is horrible, they have no identity and the team is a mess as far as leadership, etc. They can't get out of their own way.

We'll see if Coach Hope has enough meddle to get the team focused and ready to play.

Turdue will win. Zook is a worse coach than the Whistle and he's lost his team

BTW: BlueHorseshoe loves MSU
