Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

In Montana's early years before they really had a lot of weapons, they were losing to ATL 35-7 at the half.........and came back and won. At the time, I'm sure a lot of people thought SF had as good of a chance of winning that game as TENN did last week. In pro sports, there is no such thing as running it up because they are all on the same playing field. In high school, obviously schools with 4000+ kids are more likely to have a lot more talent than schools with less than 1000.......and that's why it's an issue at that level.
You're actually comparing Montana to Collins?

Like someone else said, IND scored 21 in 5 minutes against TB..........the almighty Tony Dungy with a great defense.....
you do realize that Tony Dungy was the coach of the Colts at that time, correct?
Yes he was the coach............of a team that gave up 35 to the TB offense.

There was also an illegal onside kick in that game. The ball has to either hit the ground or a TB player before IND can recover..........nice call refs.
u sure? i thought u could kick up a high jump ball?
yep, you're right the other team only has to touch it if you recover under 10 yards. the rule for hitting the ground is that if it does, you can shove whoever you want on the return team.

oh, yeah, but a jump ball that goes farther than 10 yds is fair game.

Your silence is deafening on this IND homerfans. You are first in line to blast NE when you think they are running up the score, but disappear once you see your golden boy do it. I have been consistent....you have not. Looks like we know who the real 'hater' is now, don't we?

Well.......not really. The kicking team isn't allowed to interfere with someone trying to catch it until he actually touches the ball. So unless you kick a flop shot into an open area of the field(highly unlikely), the ball has to either touch the ground or a player on the receiving team before you can recover it. That's why most kickers try to kick the top of the ball to slam it into the ground right away and then it pops up like a flop shot......because now the guy trying to catch it is fair game since the ball has already hit the ground.

When you say "consistent," I think you mean to say "redundant."

Links to Colts fans on here being distraught about the running up of the score.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

I believe the thread was started by troubleatiu and has been moved to another forum.

Nice to see IUCOLTFAN and crveech avoiding the topic since their golden boy did something much worse than what NE did against TENN.

It might have gone to the HOF. I think most of us have realized that it doesn't really matter what a thread starts off as.........very seldom does a thread stay on the original point.

yes

scoring ahead 28-6 is much worse then scoring 38-0 on 2 occasions.
