Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

In Montana's early years before they really had a lot of weapons, they were losing to ATL 35-7 at the half.........and came back and won. At the time, I'm sure a lot of people thought SF had as good of a chance of winning that game as TENN did last week. In pro sports, there is no such thing as running it up because they are all on the same playing field. In high school, obviously schools with 4000+ kids are more likely to have a lot more talent than schools with less than 1000.......and that's why it's an issue at that level.
You're actually comparing Montana to Collins?
No, I'm pretty sure that happened before Montana became Montana........the point is ATL should have kept the pressure on and taken a chance of 'running up the score' because you never know what can happen.

Like someone else said, IND scored 21 in 5 minutes against TB..........the almighty Tony Dungy with a great defense......let's not pretend that this year's NE defense are world beaters. There is no such thing as running up the score in the NFL.......I'm pretty sure Manning was also throwing late TD passes against NO 5 years or so ago when they won 52-7 or something like that.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=230928018

you mean 55-21?

or 41-10?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=270906011

i enjoy your lack of knowledge of the colts. its entertaiing

We can just tell Irish , that manning throwing 6 Tds against the lions isn't running up the score, but brady still in the game in the 2nd quarter totally is, so she can readjust her tampon and call it a day.

What math is that?

A blowout in the 3rd quarter is not running it up, but a blowout in the 4th is?

Keep spinning.

Manning goes for a TD record, runs up the score on many teams (got to play to terrible nfc north that year, and JAX and Houston twice), he's awesome.

Brady tries to break the record, runs up the score in pretty much the same fashion. He's just running up the score.

Stupidity at it's finest.

LMAO.

Yeah HUGE DIFFERENCE.

34-9 in the third against 38-0 in the 4th. Both are running up the score. Especially throwing the ball. There is a reason they didn't run in that last TD. But yeah, enjoy your delusions.

I have a life, not here to troll. I'm not gonna search for something that's as arbitrary as "Manning's TDs up 35 in the 4th." (way to cherry pick and miss the point entirely btw) The Colts ran up the score, the patriots ran up the score. It happens, especially when you go for records. If you seriously can't see that, you are beyond help. Besides, it's on an NFL defense to stop the other team, no matter what the score. You can't blame either team for going out and executing if they want to, if you wanna cry at someone being "classless" in a blowout, its starts with your own defense.
