Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

If TCU/Boise State and Florida/Alabama are the ONLY two undefeated teams at the end of the season do you guys think the little school should get a shot at the title game?

TCU - will have had to beat Utah and BYU as their teams of note. BYU has 2 losses (blown out by FSU and TCU). Utah has 1 loss (close loss to Oregon, who looks like a legit candidate to win the pac-10.

Boise - Despite being ranked higher, have only beaten one team of note, Oregon. Who looks pretty legit now (and at the time of the Utah loss), but got them in the first game of the season where they really didn't have their shit together (they barely escaped Purdue at home).

on a side note: Wouldn't it be a mess if Fla/Alabama , Iowa, Texas, Cincinatti, Boise, AND TCU all ended the season undefeated. It's not very probable but certainly possible. The BCS would be a total fucking mess then.

Yeah, but imagine a world, that after the bowl games, more than 3 teams could potentially be undefeated. The National Title for the year will be debated forever.

If at all possible, they'll make it an Urban Meyer vs. Nick Saban national title game. That's what "everyone" wants to see this season...

BSU can finish undefeated and so can the other teams, and they'll not even get a consideration. They'll go by how the rankings are, then bring up conferences each team is in, and SOS... yadda yadda.

I can tell you right now though, Iowa has been lucky a majority of this season. Good team, yes. Great team?... I just don't see them standing a chance against a team like USC, Bama, Texas, or Florida. The Big Ten has been a joke for awhile. Some what of an embarrassment to myself. But who knows. That's why they play the games, though!

Last night was the best I've seen Texas look all season. If they can keep playing like that, then they'll easily be in the national championship. And hell, Alabama almost lost to Tennessee yesterday, and Florida didn't really look that impressive at Mississippi State. I still think it will be Florida/Alabama vs. Texas in Pasadena, but things could happen between those SEC teams. Florida's toughest game left is probably at South Carolina, but Bama still has a tough home game against LSU.

Can't happen. If they are undefeated in the regular season, they'll play each other in the SEC championship.

Ten bucks and my right nut says LSU makes it a moot point when they beat Alabama on Nov. 7.

Tennessee played both Alabama and Florida tough, yet lost to UCLA and just aren't that good. Interesting. I bet Bama somehow beats LSU though, LSU is a big mystery,

That will be one ugly, physical, and low-scoring game.

In Tuscaloosa, i think Alabama will be tough to beat. You can bet they will be more ready for LSU then they were for Tenn.

No mystery. Les Miles isn't a very good coach. Since he has taken over, the offense has been mediocre and the defense has only been good as opposed to its usual great. I doubt they lose to Alabama, and i wouldn't be surprised if they lose to Arkansas for the 3rd straight year.

That is an awful lot of confidence you have in LSU there Brum. Personally, i don't think it will happen. I don't think LSU's offense is good enough to score more that 17 against Bama, and i don't think that will be enough.
