Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

i'd say as of now, it's about the same; the main difference is that there were much higher expectations for painter and co. last season than there were for a new coach, a new starting QB, etc. this season. time will tell on whether this season truly is better, but it looks pretty much the same as me.
Damn, I should have made "same" one of the choices.

"Same" and "undecided" are actually different answers.

This team has a better attitude. I think they may be less talented overall than last years team, but they have bought into something and it shows. While they have been mistake prone and blown some games they should of won, they have yet to completely give up. It's been 5 or 6 years since I've seen a Purdue team fight till the very end of every game and it's a nice change of pace.

We also seemingly have better coordinators this year and it isn't throw at all costs all the time, which is also quite refreshing.

Now, we just have to see if Hope's new focus on pulling speed from the south is going to pay off.

The purpose of the question is which team would win if they could play each other. I think the '09 team would win by a TD. Painter would be running for his life, much like he did all through his senior season. The '09 team would try to give the game away via turnovers, but I don't think the '08 team could capitalize.

Okay, we can change the subject now.

Do you think this will be the year that Krispy matches Lynch win-for-win in conference games?
