| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! ...you know what Coach Knight.....screw it! We have a coach that exemplifies the same actions (minus the asshole behavior) that the Hoosier faithful were so grateful for over the years i.e. graduating players, running a clean program, etc... Why can't you just let us know one way or the other. I have met you on a few occasions and like all Hoosiers fans love what you did for our university but what else do we need to do?!?! This is Tom Crean's team now and all we are trying to do is honor you and move on but apparently you won't accept that. Just show up, let us name a building after you, and then we can go our separate ways if that's what you want. Coach Crean......coach on sir, you have done an amazing job getting the right kind of players in and I am forever grateful for your actions and how much of a positive response that has been exuded to the fans of IU.....keep up the great work. I never thought I would say this, but goodbye Coach Knight, hello Coach Crean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

amen. amen. this is INDIANA UNIVERSITY, not Bob Knight University. It's not all about you Bobby. Like I've said before, the real victims are the true IU fans, Bob Knight just plays the role. He can go sit by himself while Jerry Yeagley (the best, and classiest coach in IU history) gets honored. |

I never thought I would say this either, but RMK can stay in his little selfish world. I always like the game he coached but never liked his antics. Personally, I say we will be better off not to associate with him if he is going to be that selfish and pigheaded. |

Hoosier Daddy?!

IU was one of the top programs even before RMK came in. I still hope he shows up, but the university needs to forget him if he doesn't. It needs to be looking towards the future with Crean at the helm. If RMK is going to hold this grudge his whole life and be selfish, then I feel sorry for him. All these years he has been worked hard to turn his players into men, yet he can't apply his same philosophy to himself. |

I am sure we will all be called Davis Apologists, etc. However, i am old enough to remember the great teams that RMK put out and loved that style of basketball and what he did. I just am a fan of the university first and if RMK doesn't want to come, that is his decision but you won't here me worry about it as i think the program is on the right track and as someone mentioned earlier RMK coming back won't make or break IU basketball going forward. If he doesn't want to show up, so what, Goodbye RMK. |

Its been goodbye RMK for 9 years now.. about time some of you let it go. He'll never be back, and he'll never be a sincere person to reason with. He's one of the best coaches of all times, but as a normal human being, he's an assbag. |
