Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Interesting to see that 2 non-ranked teams and the 23rd ranked team at the end of last year are all now top 10 teams. Purdue returns everyone and can't crack the top 5..........in fact, a team full of freshmen get ranked above them. UNC lost a ton of guys and they are still top 5? After watching most of last year's 'talent' go pro or graduate........this season is going to be even more mediocre. Get ready for a bunch of parody between a ton of decent teams.........but I'm sure most of you will tell me that the level of play and talent in college basketball is up again this year.

the fact that turdue is even ranked tells me how pitiful the state of college b-ball is. Homely, Creamer, Stooge, Jew jew? that is the basis for that ranking? those tools would finish 6th or worse during the '90's era BT.

but I guess this is the best turdue will ever be. let them hang a November banner only to not be heard from yet again come March

You are being far to generous this Purdue team in the Mid-90's probably would of finished dead last in the Sun Belt Conference. :sarcasm: Shame we will never know though, considering this is the late 00's and not the mid 90's.

And yes, basketball is down compared to the Mid-90's (although I don't think it's as far as some of you make it out to be) but that doesn't mean it still can't be an interesting and entertaining season to watch.

there's nothing interesting about watching your turdue team unless you like watching boys kiss on the court.

Porkchop's offense is sludge and relies on hand-checking fag to man defense. no wonder they can't even sell out their home games and season tickets are still available - the local farmers even realize its more interesting to watch winter wheat grow than to watch turdue basketball.

sorry, but this is why no one takes the BT seriously anymore: MSU and turdue on top? lousy, unexciting viewing. The BT needs IU to be good again to regain its national swagger. until then, it will be watching Wizzy and turdue race to 50 points and ESPN gets their lowest rated game of the week.

Hmmm, Purdue using handchecking to play defense. I have heard that before and I have seen it will my own two eyes. Also, they grab jersey's as guys are making cuts or coming off a screen. Last I checked those are fouls. That is why Purdue fans think every B10 school gets home cooking against Purdue because they call those handchecking and grabbing fouls on the road but they seem to allow Purdue to get away with that at home. Pretty bad. I am not trying to bash Purdue, but I have often stated that even back in the Keady days. That has been Keady's philosophy and now Painter has adopted it. It hurts Purdue overall if referee's allows them to get by with it at home but cracks down on them when they play on the road. That is why it will hurt them in the NCAA tournmament. This is just my opinion and I have always thought this for quite sometime. Even though it is UB that brought it up, I do feel others think the same thing.

hell no, my eyes would fall out.

I watch turdue enough to know they're basically unwatchable. terrible, boring basketball.

so don't start spewing irrelevant stats on how turdue scored 86 points against Porkchop State and how many fast break points they got. meaningless. It's slow, plodding, uninteresting and that is why turdue gets horrible ratings on TV and will further erode the BT's credibility if they are in fact, a decent team this year.

listen dipshit, I can look outside and watch it rain yet I don't have to watch it rain all day, everyday.

turdue is what it is under Porkchop: uninteresting, boring, non-innovative basketball. That is not going to change - probably only get worse because this current team is as much talent as he will ever have.

Yes because Purdue has no talent on the horizon... Just a top 15 class next year and are in excellent position with Dawson, along with several other top tier players in the 2011 class.

Painter will never have any talent again. :sarcasm:

top 15 class? shit they don't have a top 50 player in it and only 2 top 100. must be a LOUSY FUCKING class in 2010. completely unimpressed. Porkchop got gifted the 3 homos that will be juniors. He'll never sniff landing 3 players in one class like that again.

Dawson? :wanker:

better win now because turdue will be back to their usual 17-13 years soon enough

Why is this thread solely about Purdue? Isn't this the IU side... oh wait, top 25, got it

evil and brian immediately mentioned "boring" and "mediocre" - which sums up turdue perfectly
