Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

He basically says he would be a distraction and it would take away from the others being honored............I know it sounds like a load of crap, but this line of thinking is actually pretty consistent with how he sees things. I'm sure nobody will give him credit for actually calling Glass and telling him that he has decided not to come. Here comes the pitchforks and torches.

Excuse me if I don't give him credit for calling the director of the event two days before it takes place to turn down the invitation. Damn, talk about minimal expectations.

It's like the Chris Rock routine where guys want credit for taking care of their kids.

The only thing that I agree with you there is that it IS a load of crap.

So you are assuming that he made up his mind a long time ago? If he had guys he respects like Vitale begging him to go, maybe he has been considering it and finally made a decision.

That would actually be new news, considering it was the Japanese who invaded Pearl Harbor.

Hmm, now it must be a movie reference. Can't say that I care though, but I do apologize.

Wait doesn't John Belushi say that when he's trying to get everyone fired up? Oh well, pop culture references never were a strong point of mine.
