Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Possible losses (30-60% chance): one in PJ, Wake Forest, at Alabama, West Virginia, at Minnesota, Michigan St, at Wisky.
Probable losses (more than 60% chance): at Illinois, at Michigan State, at Ohio State.

One other slip up somewhere: 1.

I'll go with losing 3 of the possible and 2 of the probable; six losses, 23-6 regular season. 2-1 BTT, 2-1 NCAA, 27-8 overall.

If UB says IU is gonna win 20 games then Purdue will 35-3 and cut down the nets in Lucas Oil Stadium.
LOSES
@MSU
@Minnesota
Lose in the BTT semi's

I think we lose one game in preseason play...probably Alabama.

Big Ten play I think we will lose our games:

1. at Wisconsin (I just don't see us beating them on their court three straight times)
2. at MSU
3. at Minnesota
4. one home game we shouldn't lose, but will

We have lost at OSU in overtime each of the last two years, and I think this year we come out with a win there. Illinois is replacing its backcourt, not ready to call that one a loss yet. So my prediction is also 24-5 regular season, but I can see us stumbling in the second round of BTT, to make the record 25-6.

I'm also thinking three NCAA wins for NCAA play, making the final record 28-7.

But like everyone else's predictions, mine can be thrown far off by injuries to Purdue or its opponents.

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

no 40-0 UB because 39 is the max number of games. I see 38 games and 35-3

National Champs and Big Ten Champs we lose in the BTT however.

We were 22-9 last year with our best player missing some pretty key games. And we return our top 6 players.

Seems like you took the worst possible case scenario for a team of Purdue's caliber.

Not counting the Big 10 tournament my prediction is 23-6 overall and 13-5 in the Big 10. This is my honest, unbiased guess.

Wow.

Worst case scenario is 6 regular season losses?

WOW.

And have you ever considered that the worst case scenario has MORE injuries than last year?

So if 6 is the worst case, I assume you have them for three or four?

Gotta agree with Brum. You never know whats going to happen. Plus there are always games where you just play poorly and a lesser team gets the best of you.
