Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

21-7 IU going into the half. Un-fucking-believable.

Not a terrible call. The ball was moving some.

Doesn't matter anyway. TD
But answer me this....if the call on the field was TD, does it get overturned?

At best, it's inconclusive...so when they come up with 'the review confirms the call on the field,' they are talking out of their ass.

I think of it was a td, it stands. It sounds like you are more PO'd about the wording. They should have said the call on the field stands as it seemed that the only reason it stood was inconclusive evidence.

Absolutely. By THEIR wording, they are saying that if it had been ruled a TD, it would have been overruled.

The interception call against Michigan they said the same thing...the replay confirmed the call on the field. It's a joke....I think you hear the replay official saying that it confirms the call on the field to try to make the refs look better. Stop babying them....it's why we have produced such wishy-washy officials.

I think it was that only one second ran off the clock on the squib kick...the Iowa up man muffed the squib quick, then bobbled it before falling on it. Didn't make a difference since Iowa took a knee anyway.

Perhaps. Or maybe the officials just don't understand the wording. Hell half of them don't seem to understand the rules, so i could see them not understanding how to properly phrase the review call.

By the way, anyone know how the Purdue game is going. I am half-ass doing some research for a paper while i watch the game so i am not paying attention to the scroll and everytime i flip the channel it is on commercial

They suck. Again.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."
