Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

What happened to this guy. Last year he was unhittable in the playoffs. This year he has a regular season ERA over 4 and his ERA in the playoffs is over 10.

My guess is a combo of advanced scouting, a tired arm, and the specialized nature of the playoffs.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Forget about Hamels. How about Brad Lidge. He gives up 3 runs in the 9th after the Phillies come back to tie it. I wouldn't trust that dude to throw out the first pitch, let alone take the ball in the 9th inning of a World Series game.

Fuck this whole series. I haven't watched one minute of one game and I don't really care.

Any year the Yankees DON'T win a world series should be a huge disappointment and embarrassment to the franchise. They literally triple or double every teams payroll, and still haven't won one in about 10 years.

That my friends, is pathetic. Like them, or hate them like me... you don't admit that, you're clueless and naive as fuck.

The All-Star team SHOULD win a world series... every fuckin year.

go cry to MLB and their rules. They establish them and the Yankees play by them.

Maybe if so many other franchise owners weren't complete cheap asses, they could retain their star players or attract free agents. If you can't afford to gas up the yacht, you'd better sell the yacht to someone who can.

quit crying like a little bitch

I'm not denying that Yankee fans are the most spoil fans in all of baseball. But when you establish such an amazing tradition and have 26 World Series with so many great names, it's easy to get a thick head.

I don't expect the Yankees to win it all every year. That's just not rational. I also have no problem if the MLB puts a salary cap on. It would make the sport more competitive and save the bottom dwelling franchises.

I just think your disliking of A-Rod so much is comical.
