Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Brady has 2 rules in his name....they both suck.
You do know that the tuck rule was called in a game against NE earlier that season right?.......Vinny Testaverde benefitted from it. Belichick is on record as saying that as soon as he saw the replay he knew the fumble would be overturned.

Brady is still known for it and the rule still sucks. So what's your point?
The point is that if anyone is going to get credit for the rule it should be Vinny, since he was the first QB that I know of to get that call during a game. It makes as much sense as calling Tomlinson LT........the real LT retired long ago and now dances in suspenders for weight loss companies.

Thanks Evil. According to the stats, you've made 95 people more stupid by posting this.
Is that really possible?
You're right. No way 95 people would ever bother to read anything you wrote.
Lame.

Dreach, whats happened to your Giants?
Injuries have just caught up with them. They're secondary and LBs have been decimated and it simply didn't show with their easy schedule to start. As they get guys back you can expect them to start to play better. They will get back Sintim, Boley, Canty, Bernard, Dockery and Ross. The one problem is that they won't get Kenny Phillips back and CC Brown (his replacement) is the guy who is giving up all the huge plays. He is terrible.I think the Giants might move Terrell Thomas to safety once they get Aaron Ross back. Something has to be done to get CC Brown out of there.
I also think Eli's injury has a lot to do with it. Before his injury, NYG would get up on opponents early which would make them more predictable offensively for the rest of the game. This allowed their pass rush to pin their ears back which helps hide the flaws in the secondary. I haven't checked the stats, but it doesn't seem like they are controlling the ball early in games and have been falling behind. It's also worth pointing out that they have been playing a few of the better teams in the NFL recently. Eli seems like he always goes through a rough 3-4 game patch during the season. They should bounce back.
NYG secondary is embarrassingly bad.
impossible

evil said NY had one of the best defenses in the NFL

Giants fans can't be happy with how poorly the team has played against playoff caliber or playoff spot contending teams. They do have 5 home games left, but it's not exactly an easy slate of games. Remaining opponents record is 34-21.

Well the Giants are starting Aaron Rouse in place of CC Brown this week. Rouse was cut by the Packers because of coverage issues so I'm not sure how much of an upgrade he will be. Can't be much worse though. Michael Boley is coming back soon and Aaron Ross after the break. That will certainly hel their secondary issues.
