Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

275 for the entire tournament, but those will be nosebleeds unless you give lots of money to the John Purdue Club. I usually get tickets from a broker for lower arena.

I'm 3 hours from campus in good traffic. I'll be at every weekend game I possibly can. The weekday ones are gonna be rough though.
wait until you live 12 or more hours away.
That'll be a sad, sad day. I'd like to eventually get season tickets and be able to make most of the games. You know, when I have a few million dollars sitting around and can take my private jet direct to W. Lafayette, of course.
UB will drop you off on his way to bloomington.

I might have to make it to that this year. Do you do a lot better than 275 getting them at the game?

yes, just wait for one of the bajilion IU fans who buy session passes who don't want them anymore after IU makes an early exit. they might even give them to you for free.

I don't think I could fit in his planes. The bullshit takes up most of the cabin space.

It depends. I have gotten thursday and Sunday tickets for 10 bucks on the floor. Friday and Saturday are hit and miss. They are session tickets, not single game tickets.

Btown,

It is hard when they do not air the game. Plus exhibition games are not the same as regular season ones. I know you are excited for the IU game tomorrow but hard to talk about it from NC.

Looks like rebounding might still be an issue with this team.

Impressions from the game:

1. Keaton Grant looks much improved.
2. The juniors look about as good as expected.
3. Ryne Smith is a lot scrappier and better defensively.
4. Bade is a work in progress. Think Calasan.
5. Byrd has potential and could contribute.
6. Barlow isn't ready.
7. Hart looks OK.
8. Paint Crew will be a force again. 95% full for an exhibition game on Tuesday.

He was playing the point some when he was in. I dunno, he looked OK, but nothing special.

i've played against barlow a lot. he's going to be a solid contributor, but he's not there yet. he's really raw, but i have confidence that painter will mold him into a good to great defensive player. offense will never be his strong point. he had really poor coaching in high school, and i think that's going to show early on in his career -- but like i said, he has the ability to be a solid defensive player for you guys.
