| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! Watched till about 10 min to go so here are my thought. 1. 14-2 with the starters to start the game. More than anything this shows me is that they came ready to play. 2. Bade has some work to do. At times the game seemed really fast for him. 3. Barlow showed some good things. 4. Why Hart was offered a scholly is beyond me. Then we redshirted him. 5. KG looks better. Huge Plus 6. Frontcout dept could be a huge problem for this team. |

This is my second year after graduating and last year I was feeling the same way you were. It's almost like you have to quit cold turkey... I hadn't missed a basketball or football home game in 5 years and then all at once they cut you off! But I made it to 3 football games last year and 3 this year. I also made about 8 games last year and will probably do the same this year. Already have tickets for Wake Forest and WV along with a couple of others. Fortunately, I'm up in Fort Wayne so it's only a little over 2 hours away. I have a feeling you'll be just fine. Edited by boilerup86, Nov 3 2009, 11:40 PM.

If you never watched Purdue play, you could tell who the freshmen were just by the defensive end. The defensive rotations just look so much smoother when the upperclassmen are on the floor as opposed to the freshmen. Bade especially. You could tell that he knows what to do, its just not second nature yet. Lots of shots in and out early. I'm assuming the 3 hour or so practices we are going through on a day to day basis had something to do with looking a little sluggish. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Oh yeah, and JJ's jump hook is disgustingly good. |
