| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! So let me get this straight: IU basketball = USC football Krispy = Pete Carroll Jeremiah Rivers = Matt Leinhart All I can say is: Wow. Just wow. |

I'd think a fairer comparison would be Minnesota Football. Not USC |

I'd have to say a better comparison might be Nebraska football. 1) Both schools achieved great success with one coach...during the same time frame. 2) Both schools refused to accept marginal success with the following coach (Davis/Solich) 3) Both schools got cocky and fired their marginal coaches. 4) Both programs turned to stinky dogshit afterward...but failed to admit their mistake. 5) Nebraska, at best, might be a perennial boderline top 25 team. Time will tell the fate of IU basketball. |

Nebraska might get there again, who knows? My point was, not every team that was a powerhouse, eventually becomes one again. Minny won three consecutive titles, and they haven't done a thing in like 35 years. |

so FSU football will never be good again? you turdue fans have it easy: 1. You've never had a HOF coach to replace 2. You're program is so irrelevant, there are no expectations 3. You've never won anything |

It would be a HUGE upset for Purdue. Many good Purdue teams have gone into the big house and been beaten like a typical IU team. (note the word "typical" because this year's IU team is pretty decent) I called the upset because it's been a weird year. Now on second thought, Purdue beat scUM last season, and they aren't going to be happy about that..... I just flipped a coin, and am still calling for the upset. How's that for some serious convictions? |

You think Minnesota is going to win a National Title anytime soon? |

It's hilarious that Unbathed just assumes IU will return to the criminal days of Konvict, despite the fact that IU hired a coach that wins one NCAA game every five years. |

Good call. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Nice win for our Boilers. However, given how UM is so down this season, any team with any talent, and certainly any team worthy of a bowl game should win at Mich this season. |

It wasn't long ago that he was telling us UM is vastly improved and a legit top 20 team. I wonder if he's still sticking to his guns on that one. |
