Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

You forgot to add he was 3-4 from the field, 100% for threes(2-2), and shot 3-4 from the line for a total of 11 points. Not a bad first outing.

The five turnovers are bad I will give you that. The five fouls I can't comment on, I didn't see the game.

Good thing its a meaningless preseason game and Painter and the staff will make him a much better player than he is today.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

really? after one game? the only thing separating this kid from high school basketball is summer vacation and 10 weeks of school (most of which he couldn't even do official basketball workouts).

UB's going to be in for a rough awakening this year.

I think it was Bob Knight who once said, the best thing about freshmen is that they become sophomores. Inconsistency and mistakes happen for freshmen, its just part of the gig.

yep. unless your name is eric gordon, michael beasley, OJ Mayo, or derrick rose, you probably just don't have the freakish skill to be a reliable freshman.

that's funny because IU is loaded with freshmen and soph who will be getting a shit load of playing time.

so VJ, Pritchard etc won't be getting any better but turdue's bench warmers will?

oh and tell me again how rynball smith is the best shooter in the bt

your credibility is shot

When did I say that IU's players wouldn't get better?

And Byrd will not be a bench warmer.

you said byrd was better than most of IU's freshmen and that none of IU's freshmen would see the floor at turdue

fact is, byrd would be the 4th or 5th best freshman in IU's class
