Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Don't make me post Kline's stats. It will get embarassing. Kline's best season came was when Leach was a senior. Mike Roberts was beginning to take minutes away from him, but here are his best stats when he didn't have to play the 5 and be the only legit post threat......and he played on a better team where defensive guards couldn't crash down on the post.

G GS MIN/G FGM FGA FG% FTA FTM FT%
Kline, S 22 12 21.3 59 118 .500 38 53 .717

There is a reason Kline could only get 21 minutes per game......because he stunk.....and this was his best season by far.
I am only comparing him to Kline because he misses too many point blank shots. I just watched the second half again and he missed three uncontested point blank lay ups in a row. If and when he starts to make those, then you can start comparing him to someone else, but not Thomas. Hell, I can't even compare him to any IU player other than Kline, maybe Charlie Miller because they both can't shot free throws, miss a lot of shots, and they are left handed.

I think Pritchard will contribute and will be a decent player, but not great and he is better overall than Kline was. Also, he had an opportunity to play right away and Thomas had to wait his turn.

By the way, the 50% field goal percentage and 71.7% free throw percentage are higher than Pritchard's.
That was Kline's best year by far...................you would be embarassed if I posted the stats from his other 3 seasons. Comparing Kline and Pritchard is much further off than comparing DThomas and Pritchard considering their situations.
Evil, you need to listen to what I am saying. I am not trying to compare Pritchard's stats to Kline's stats. I am only comparing him to Kline because he misses too many close range (1 to 2 foot) shots. Daryl Thomas was a much better shooter and scorer than Pritchard. I am not saying Pritchard can't get to that level, but the guy misses way too many bunny shots. I don't care about Kline's stats and I know he sucked.
