Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

:banghead:

please try watching the game before you critique him. he had one legit turnover, the others were tom pritchards lack of catching ability.
If there was a turnover that resulted from Pritchard not being able to catch the ball.............then Pritchard gets credited with the turnover. Sounds like VAG is still dribbling/driving with his head down. You would think he might consider working on something like that in the offseason.
I believe the line here is...

Maybe you should watch the game instead of just assuming everything can be understood from a box score.

Did I get that right?
Gee, where have we heard that before?

That's impossible. Everyone keeps telling me that he is so much improved because he had a few good halfs of scoring towards the end of last year. So he is turning it over a ton against an NAIA school?...........what's going to happen when he goes up against actual D1 talent? I didn't see the game, but it sounds like his basketball IQ/decision making is no better than last year.................and that's not a good thing. I guess the only good thing is Crean took my advice and moved him from PG to a wing.......the fewer decisions you make VAG make, the better.
I'm sorry....but did you see the game? If not, stop quoting fucking stats and WATCH THE GAME.
Watching it right now, and I've read this bedtime story before. VAG has a few good offensive plays and suddenly everyone forgets that he consistently gives up points and turns it over. It's 1 minute into the 2nd half and I've seen him lazily jog back on defense 3 times which has led to a total of 7 points...........where is that in the statsheet?........I guess since its not in a boxscore it doesn't matter. I'm not even counting his foul 84 feet from the basket, and his poor defensive positioning that led to a wide open 3 a little before halftime.

Your initial comments were BEFORE you watched the game. You've been exposed as a hypocritical biased idiot already.

Yeah, it was dumb of me to assume that people saying that VAG was still turning it over a lot were right. How could I think that he might be capable of doing THE EXACT SAME THINGS HE DID LAST YEAR. It appears I'm seeing the EXACT SAME THING that others saw last night.

Whoever said he had only 1 turnover that was his fault is already wrong......after seeing him try to drive to the hoop before catching Hulls' pass.....that makes atleast 2......and that's not counting his lazy defense.

You must have ignored my posts defending Pritchard.

I am an IU fan. Watford hasn't been overly impressive, but you can definitely see some potential.

VAG is going to find it tougher to slash against BT starting guards........wow, 1 of his assists comes on a no call obvious charge by VAG.

Good Lord, you're an idiot.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

I do find it funny in all this that no one has mentioned Jones' 8 assists.

That is because Evil keeps picking out bad stuff about his play. Like Pritchard, they both make goofy errors and they both have potential to help the team.
