One of the longest consecutive games streaked will be snapped this week when Bob Sanders will be forced to miss the rest of the season. Sorry for the smartass remark but I just hate how all my Colts friends say that he is the best safety in the league when at the start of next season he will have missed almost half of the games in his career. I would say this is a big loss but i think the Colts are used to playing without him. |

It's because, he returned during the playoffs their superbowl year, and the Colts defense stepped up. You can't blame them for loving his ass.

No one will tell you he isn't a great player. But he is the highest paid safety in the league. For how much he plays it is a total waste of money. |

agreed, but i mean, at least they attempted to spend a lil money on defense. They still have a good enough offense to have a stellar regular season. |

Oh yeah. The Colts have to make that signing. Not like you would let Sanders go or trade him. Just bad luck. |

it seems like "torn biceps" is in this year. It seems like that injury has been pretty frequent the last two years. |

Im not a doctor and I may be way off on this, but as much as guys lift these days and how little of percent body fat they have it would seem to me there is more pressure on the muscles and when there is more pressure there is a better chance of something to snap or tear. Again I have no idea if that has anything to do with it. |

Bob Sanders is made out of paper mache. He is useless because he never plays. Their defense played great when they won the superbowl?............they gave up 30+ to Brady and bunch of nobodies.....not exactly what I would consider great. |

Hoosier Daddy?!

This comes as no surprise. I agree that Sanders is a waste of money because he can't stay healthy. And he knows that he will keep getting hurt because that's just the style of his game. When he's playing, he has been huge for the Colts. But they have been playing well this season without him. |
