Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I doubt many people care since he did it to Rodriguez. I get this feeling not many people like this guy.
As I said, not many people have anything good to say about him. But there's no need to stoop to his level...hell, you just won at a place where you hadn't won in 43 years -- let that be the blurb as opposed to an issue from months ago.
Agree, not a big fan of the move but maybe there is more to the story only Hope knows that. I tend to think there might be because i just dont see Hope doing something like that unless there was more to the story. But hey i could be wrong.

Hope's enthusiasm, spirit and admiration for his players is top notch. If it means sticking up for them, through good and bad, to another coach or anyone then I have his back. What an emphasis on team. Sure, the UM people didn't like it, it may not have been the right thing to do, but how do you think our team feels now? How do you think our recruits feel? Who would you rather play for? Exactly-D Hope. This guy is for real and I am glad to have him as our coach.

When is the last time Purdue beat both UM and Ohios State in the same season?

Actually, when is the last time ANY Big Ten team has done that?

Purdue beat OSU and UM in 2000.

IU did it in 1987.

that in itself is remarkable, Who would have thought we would do it twice in one decade.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Was reading it earlier, you read the article where one of the guys said he heard from a Purdue insider that Joey holds or offense back.

I'm not going to lie, I've never visited a rivals message board before and I can safely say I will never visit one again. That was some of the most ignorant, inbred, vile, and pointless conversation I have ever had the displeasure of reading. Sad to say it wasn't limited to one particular fan base, they were both terrible.

Oh well, I don't really care about this whole handshake deal and neither will anyone else in less than a week. It will be a blip before next year's Purdue v Michigan game. I think it has been blown way out of proportion, along with Rich Rods comments on Reckman.

DR has lost his first 2 games against Purdue. I think this thing has some legs, at least for the UM fans.
