Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

wow, JJ can only bench 285? I nearly benched that much in HS, and I was scrawny and 6'2 at the time. I'm 6'6 now, don't lift weights, and could probably work my way up to his max in a couple months. wow.

br
Its easier to bench when you are 6'2 than 6'6.

Moving 285 lbs for a 6'10, 215 pound man is rather impressive. He's also ran right at 5 minutes for a mile.
so are you saying he's built like a marathoner? lol...

it's not hard to bench that much weight when you're taller so long as your height/weight proportionate. JJ has height but is way undersized in the weight category. that's his downfall.

br
was Jew Jew the ethiopian in the NYC marathon?

I can see him throwing J J of Purdue around like a rag doll, LOL.
Good luck.
Dude, seriously. This is in reference to a stupid post that UB made previously. Ya see, the little guy rolling on the ground laughing indicates a post made in jest.

I thought you kids understood these damn emoticons.

But did he make his free throws afterwards?

That simply is an opening too big too ignore. The last time I saw an opening that big a Wisconsin running back was moving through the Indiana defensive line.

Fuck, I haven't even posted this yet and I'm already going to bump it.

Bump.

Actually I lift a decent amount and I can tell you that being taller is tougher on your bench for a way too obvious reason: you have to lift the weight higher. I'm only 5-7ish, but I have a broad build and my bench max is about 100 pounds over my body weight. I have a friend who is 6-0, 215 pounds build like me and is pretty solid, and his max is like 15 pounds more than mine.
