Jones has 6 turnovers. Before the subs came in, we were 29-36 from the free throw line. Since then Daniel Moore missed two and Dumbass went one for two. We are up 27. |

Watching it via gametracker on iuhoosiers.cstv.com right now. They have Jones and Hulls both with 5 turnovers. Again, haven't seen the game, but just from stats Muniru has already done more than Jobe did all last year. |

Anyone have a score update? I can't figure out how to track the game or view a boxscore. |

Bawa ended up with 7 points, with an impressive dunk. I like the way he catches the ball in traffic. Seems to have good hands. Also, I think he ended with 3 or 4 blocks. Final score 95-67. Creek, Rivers and Watford looked good. We ended up 32-46 from the free throw line, but we were 29-36 before the subs came in and we ended up 3-10 with the subs. Rivers and Creek had 16 points apiece and Watford was 7-8 from the free throw line and I think he ended up with 15 points. |

Hulls did not play well. Seemed like just an off night. Didn't seem to have the best handle on the ball and made some bad passes and bad decisions on in-bounds passes. He also looked slow with the ball when they put a little pressure on him bringing the ball up the court. |

Someone had said previously that St.Joseph's was ranked #3 in d II...it's not true. They are unranked, went 15-13 last year. They do play in a pretty good conference and my alma mater (University of Indianapolis) did beat Valparaiso University in an exhibition last week. |

40 free throws in a preseaon game, i hope this was more a D2 team not being able to guard them and reaching and just fouling alot and not the way the games are going to be called this year. Totally ruins the flow of the game and not enjoyable to watch. |

pretty much. the game was stop, start, stop, start. bawa played a lot better than i could have ever imagined. 7 pts, a few boards, 3 blocks, and a ton of altered shots. he actually knows what he's doing, and he looks pretty natural out there. it will be fun to watch him grow and develop. i already know what EVIL is going to say about VJIII and his turnovers, but honestly, once again most of them weren't his fault. a lot of the freshmen aren't on the same page yet, and when he was throwing lead passes, the guys were going the wrong way. however, both jones and rivers looked really good tonight, an Mo Creek showed flashes of what he can be. 7 boards for a guard isn't too shabby. |

iIn tonights game i was impressed by Bawanananan (with his limited time), rivers, watford, and creek. Roth did ok considering his role on the team. pritchard did miss some easy put backs but... he is banging down low getting the ball, and thats ok with me. Elston and Capo looked ok but they had many moments where they looked like freshmen. i like vjones style of play but i wish he would not turn the ball over so much and Hulls looked a little off and the viewer could tell. he was upset and it showed in his game. Dumbass and Jobe needs to leave...booo them 2 |

I cant imagine thats really what Crean wanted, ya its good you got 40 free throws but its preseason you would like to use these games to work on your offense, you can practice free throws at practice. |

in a way, you're right, but the way we play also contributes to the inflated free throw numbers. we drive to the basket a ton, which against a team with inferior athletes tends to lead more fouls. you're not going to see a ton of outside shots from the hoosiers this year, and honestly, i won't miss it. haha. |

I get ya, i never really watched Marqutte that often so i dont really know what kind of offense he runs and watching last years team didnt really help figure that out. |

It still worries me that Moore is getting this much playing time. It makes me wonder if Crean's going to reward his hard work with more minutes than his talent dictates. |

the scrubs played a ton more tonight than they did even last week. this game wasn't a game virtually from the tip, and the point guard position is the most established position on our team. don't read too much into it, VJIII, Dumes, Hulls, Creek, and Rivers will keep Moore from getting any more than a few minutes a game. |
