Danny Hope, Purdue (3-6, 4-5)... Consensus around the Big Ten was that Hope inherited a solid Boilermaker program from Joe Tiller. Purdue has looked outcoached and could be .500 with better decisions, but has been maddeningly inconsistent along the way. Jury still out in West Lafayette. Grade: C - |

Well, seeing as Danny Hope is 4-6 and not 3-6, I'd say the credibility of whatever random article from whatever random website you took this from is next to zero. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

If a coach at IU or ND won games against OSU or UM with the team that Hope has, there isn't a surgeon in the world that could remove his cock from your mouth. Luckily, Purdue fans are realistic. We are happy that we have a coach that can win some games against quality teams, but not expecting our coach to walk on water. |

realistic? you and your ilk are the most unrealistic fanbase I know. LMFAO good win over OSU. as for UM? they blow. not impressed at all by that. hell, IU should have won at UM. he also lost at home to N. Ill LMFAO and lost 37-0 to wizzy. he stinks as bad or worst than Lynch and IU wants Lynch fired. |

You are an idiot. Hope is light years ahead of Lynch as a coach (and thats not saying a whole lot). IU should have won at UM....... but they didn't. UM still has more talent than every team without State in their name. It kills you that both ND and IU completely choked at UM, yet Purdue pulled out a W. Thats the funniest part of it all really. Lay off the bottle there Dennis. |

lynch is a terrible coach and so is Hopeless. at least IU fans aren't blind homers and can recognize this fact unlike TUrdue dorks UM blows. the refs stole the game from IU - plain and simple. doesn't matter though. tell me about Hopeless' coaching jobs against N Ill, Wizzy, ND et al. he stinks |

His coaching job against ND? Pretty damn good, we were leading a team better than us until the last minute of the game. The refs didn't steal the game from IU against UM. They missed one call. They fucked up a HUGE call against Purdue also, but we still won. Excuses, excuses, excuses as usual from you. |

ND was also playing without their QB, RB and best wide receiver. shit, even if Clausen plays the entire game, ND wins by 21. he had his chance to win and called a timeout like a complete boob. he's a d2 moron scrub |

Did you watch the game? Aside from the last drive, Purdue had been shutting down Clausen. Hell, at that point in time if I was an ND fan I would of been pissed they put him back in. Prior to that the Wildcat formation was killing us, Purdue got back into the game when Charley stopped going with the Wildcat and threw Clausen back in. Granted he did lead the game saving drive, but realistically if ND had just kept running it down our throats they wouldn't of been in that position. You want someone who gets out-coached regularly (not saying Hope hasn't been out coached at several points this season) look no farther than Mr. Weis. No one at Purdue is calling Hope the next coming of Christ. Does he have his flaws? Sure. Will he be the best division I or Big Ten coach ever? Probably not. However, is he a good fit for Purdue? That remains to be seen, but much like for players there is a learning curve for a new coach and I fully plan on giving him 4 years to develop this program. If he is still consistently making the same mistakes he's making this year, then it's time to show him the door. But, I refuse to call for a guys head until he has at least had a chance to prove himself. |

The timeout was a stupid decision. Did Clausen play last weekend? |
