Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

For one your record is 0-0... Preseason games don't count, but congratulations on 0 down 20 to go with a nice tune up.

lol at Jordan Hulls with 5 turnovers.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

lol at blindly looking at stats.

Byrd is going to be a rotation guy on a top 10 team, his stats won't be great. When Byrd is a lead player in a few years, then we can compare.

How can you compare the contribution or ability of two players when they won't play similar roles on a team. A point for comparison would be 2 years from now when both are starters and contributing in a leading role instead of a supporting one.

Well, UB is a blind homer with limited knowledge of the game of basketball so its not too surprising.

well, Hulls already proved that in HS and won the state title and Mr Basketball

come to think of it, Elston, Creek, Watford, Rivers and Bow Wow are all better than Bryd too.

According to Unbathed logic, Woody Austin was a better player than Shawn Kemp.

It's your reasoning, not mine. The ratings are a factor and do belong in the discussion.

But Mr. Basketball strictly goes to who was the best high school player...with no regard to whom is the best college or pro prospect. Completely irrelevant when discussing college players, much like yourself.

you act like byrd is some athletic 6'9 black guy.

he's a 6'4 white kid with average skills.

Hulls is far better because he's a true pg. Byrd will be some AJ Moye type of player minus the athleticism.
