While Turdue has the huge advantage in experience/age, I think IU is the more athletic team. Guys like Creemer, Brokeback, and Jew Jew aren't very athletic, they are just very experienced. Conversely, guys like Creek, Watford, Bow Wow, Rivers are very athletic just not experienced. Teams can get more experience, they can't get more athletic skill. |

tAmazingHomer, this is a very valid discussion considering the HUGE upgrade of IU talent this year and the potential impact it could make. Have you seen them play? Huge difference from last year. No wonder Nick Williams and Story transferred ( I liked WIlliiams), they wouldn't play much given Watford, Rivers, Elston and Creek coming in. |

It doesn't help to have athletecism if you don't know how to use it. The answer is Purdue.

I disagree. you are confusing experience with pure skills. IU will be better than turdue by 2011 |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Never in my life seen someone so excited about a group of players who just got done playing a bad D2 team. |

lol @ counting wins over a D2 and a NAIA team. Thats a big sign of being worried about the 20 win barrier. |

Impossible to tell when you are counting on 5-6 freshmen like IU is doing. Those guys haven't played a game against a D1 opponent. If I had to take a guess, I'd say 14 or 15 (not including preseason games). |

I will say you guys allowed UB to count the preseason games last year, so there is sort of a precedence set already. I'm in agreement with you though, Cam. 14 or 15 would be pretty good in my opinion. |
