Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Oh no, I didn't get my pick in! I swear I haven't looked at a score. I'll understand if you don't count it. It's normal to be scared by my greatness.

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I think it is a winnable game and I hope you are right but they haven't proved to me they can win a game like this. Too many dumb mistakes, poor foul shooting, and lack of a good inside game does not add up to IU having a shot to win this one.

Like someone said Friday on the Dan Dakich show, "when are these players going to stop making these dumb mistakes on the floor." He stated that it isn't Crean, it is the players and Dakich agreed. He also stated that "they have played many games over their career and they know how to play basketball, why can't they do it? Where is the fundamentals?" Dakich eluded to the fact that they are picking up bad habits during the AAU circuit.

I don't know what it is but I get tired of these silly mistakes and it has to start with coach Crean. When is he going to start using the bench as a motivator? When is he going to start playing Bawa over Jobe? When is he going to light a fire underneath Pritchard and Jones? When is he going to realize that Dumbass isn't worth a shit? When is he going to make Rivers play more under control? Finally, when are they going to start hitting free throws more consistently? :banghead:

Dakich may have drank the kool Aid too. There are points in a game that there has to be coaching exercised. If we're going to have a period of throw away games then fuck it, why even go to the game. Any douche can sit over there and run subs in and out. The old man had 3 coaches and a team doctor that could work a game better than that pack of fuck sticks Crean has sitting over there with him. I've yet to see a sentinal moment from Tony Little that makes me think he'll ever be able to get it out of his pants during crunch time without shooting it all over himself. We didn't have a lot of options I know.

I'm not a fan of the manipulating talent being called coaching.

Dixon's a queef too but he's learning and has a shot at being a strategist one day so that's all I need to know.

Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.
