We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. is it as good as "Flash Forward"? |
![]() The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism. | |

Sounds Interesting. I'll have to look for it. Who do they have hosting it? Sounds like something up Dick Marchinko's ally. |

Do you remember his name? Maybe Eric something? There is a guy that was an original member of delta force who has written a book about it ans serves as a consultant for the the show "The Unit" I think his name is Eric Haney |

http://abc.go.com/shows/flash-forward The whole world blacked out for 117 seconds and saw visions of their future at the exact same point in time. They are now trying to figure the whole mess out...etc. Great concept, good show! |

Never heard of him either. I will say one thing though. Those pararescue guys are no joke. I did some reading up on them after readin Black Hawk Down. They get the same advanced infantry/close quarter combat training that the seals and Delta do - though probably not as much from a quantity standpoint - they also obviously get the parachute training, they get dive training, they get mountaineering training, and to top it all off the get the most intensive and in-depth medic training in the American military. I have read that some of the ther special forces look down on them a bit, because they are they take the "easy way" into special forces, but still. They are bad. |

I know. I had actuallly thought about trying it at one time before i got married and had kids. My wife - then fiance - thought i was crazy. I actually had an appointment with a recruiter, and he never showed up, I took that as a sign and i never went back. |

I have heard that it has a lot of similarities to Lost, especially in how it pulls you in and leaves every episode as a cliff hanger. So far it is a pretty good show, but it is off now until March. |
