Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Oh I gotcha...I misread your post. I thought you were saying only 8-10 teams in all have a shot to win the NC.

I really don't see a HUGE problem with expanding the tournament. If you doubled it, it would just add one extra game for each team and it would just be an exhibition game for most of the good teams.

I say expand it with 6 more teams and they will be 4 play-in games and that is as big as it should get. By adding 6 more teams, those so called bubble teams that probably should of gotten in will.

I'm not in favor of any further expansion -- adding the play-in was ridiculous, imo. And really, expanding the tournament to 64 required including teams that have no business being there; the talent disparity between the top teams and the bottom teams is already too great, frankly. I'm sure there's a "feel good" moment for those 15th and 16th seeded teams when they win their conference tournament and see their name on selection Sunday; but seriously, it's nothing more than a glorified scrimmage. And yet, given all that, since money is the ultimate motivator for expansion, I'll bet it will happen.
Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.
