Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Im stationed in Germany at the moment but coming home on leave and will be looking to catch an IU game. Are the games still sold out like they used to be? or should I be able to find a couple tickets? and what can I expect to pay. I havent been home in awhile and would love to get to a game.

I do know there are tickets available for the N. Carolina Central game Dec. 19th, Loyola, MD game Dec. 22nd, and Bryant game Dec. 28th. That is all I know. Congrats on getting to come home on leave.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Good to hear you get to come home first and foremost.

In all honesty bro, tickets aren't tooooo terribly tough to come by. BUT, I wouldn't go and spend an assload to watch us play top notch teams either. Maybe one of the low-major games would be more ideal. You'll find better seats for cheaper, and HOPEFULLY see our team working hard and kicking ass.

We're improving. But if you're trying to get to a game with a kid, or friend (idk your situation, everyones is different!) I personally would try to go to a less atmospheric game.

Good luck though! Check out Stubhub.com and other sites, you should be able to find some tickets!

Glad you're coming back for a visit. I'm heading for Mainz next week, probably pass each other in route. God bless and safe travels. When I was flying C-141's, this was always a really busy time for us. The most troops I ever had on board was around 140 guys coming back to the lower 48. Picked them up in Fairbanks and took them to Ft Campbell KY. Landed in a snowstorm on Christmas Eve. Never heard such a cheer as when we blocked in and shut down. Sometimes, the little things are the most rewarding. A moment I will never forget. Again, safe travels and welcome back!!!!

All of you are incredible! Seriously, I appreciate all you have said. Ijust got back from a mission in Israel and the only way I could keep up on IU basketball from over here was through this board and so you guys, in an odd way, are kinda my connection to Bloomington, IN, my home town. So I want to thank those who created this board and everyone that makes it what it is. Im glad I have this site to come to at the end of the day. Thanks again! and GO HOOSIERS!
