Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

i honestly think this was our best performance of the season. we did well all-around except for on the board, which we should have expected.
I agree. IU did their part, but the only way we could've beat UK is for them to have an off night from behind the arc. Eric Bledsoe single handily dismantled our defense.

Just to give some perspective, ignoring Patrick Patterson and DeMarcus Cousins, Kentucky STILL had a better bigman than us coming off the bench in a 5-star freshman Daniel Orton.

We played a very good game, but we have a group that will need to be upperclassmen to win.

nice sarcasm. but seriously, how many other schools present a big-man threat like Kentucky? You can count them on one had, that's for sure.

Yeah, Kentucky's starting front line will be playing in the NBA next year, so they aren't really IU's concern anymore.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Yeah, but we all know that as long as Calipari is at UK, he'll keep bringing in 5 and 4 star recruits including big men.

True, but at least for next year, they won't have two players on the same level as Patterson or Cousins.

Second chance points was the difference in the game, just too big and physical for us. However, I did enjoy watching the first half.

Shit we actually played a pretty good game. It may feel that wa y because im a little drunk, but what do you do when youre that outmatched down low? we turned the ball over only 9 times, and shot 547 % onm the game. They doubled us on rebounds, hard to overcome that. This game gave me some reasons to be hopeful.

I definitely think this team as greatly improved throughout the season and are much better than last year. Like IU1fan, I also enjoyed the first half but I also enjoyed the team playing hard throughout the game and I especially enjoyed watching Creek play. We definitely have to get much tougher upfront and that needs to start with Pritchard. That guy is not mentally tough and plays way too soft. That guy has alot of potential but seems to lazy to realize he can play much better, bigger than what he does. I think this team will compete in most games this year and get to double digit wins, but we will have a hard time beating teams that rebound well like Kensucky and MSU until Pritchard gets tougher down low. I think it starts with him or someone else down low to step up and the team will start to compete and beat top teams in the B10.

Big praise from Calipari...according to Inside the Hall (on twitter), Calipari said that Creek is the best player Kentucky has played against this year. And Kentucky has played UNC and UCONN.
