Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

i bet they don't get to the final four unless they are seeded against an easy schedule.
Kansas?..............well, it's going to be pretty easy no matter which bracket they are in. Much like last year, you can pretty much pencil in most of the Elite 8 right now. I'd take Kansas blind into the final four if you want to make some sort of bet on it. If they don't make it, I'll end every post with CREAN IS KING........if they do make it you have to end every post with EVIL KNOWS BEST.....for a year.
So who is in your elite 8, just out of morbid curiosity?
There is no way Evil places Purdue in the Elite 8

I'm sure Evil didn't have Missouri in his Elite 8 last season.

That's what makes college basketball and March Madness so great. It's all so unpredictable.

kansas has played nothing but exhibition games up to now...

br
Yeah, but they have a good mix. Some experience at guard, lots of big athletic bodies, lots of guys who can hit the 3......I don't think much of Self as a coach, but he has a team with the fewest holes in CBB this year.
I agree with you on this one.

I said most, not all.........and injuries can certainly impact things. If I had to bet my life on it, I would pencil in Kansas, Kentucky, UNC, Duke, and Purdue into the Elite Eight. I know it will shock some people to see me put Purdue there, but they have experience and grind teams defensively. Of course, putting Purdue into the Elite Eight this early in the season could be some sort of reverse jinx on my part. I'm not sold on Texas, Syracuse, and a handful of others.....I need to see them play more than CreamPuff University every other game....but wouldn't be surprised if UCONN made it there.

And yes, there is almost always a surprise team that makes it. A lot depends on the matchups and sometimes a team just gets hot or has a lot of luck on their side. If there was a person on the planet who could correctly pick all of the elite eight in december, let alone march, he would be swimming in cash.

I picked the entire elite 8 correctly on my bracket....the second year florida won it all.....had the elite 8 and final four correct, but picked OSU.......I was raping on Yahoo before that....

if you asked me to chose them now though, tough time.....because knowing who is a 2 seed and a 3seed makes a huge difference.

That was my point. The 5 teams I mentioned should not be facing each other to get into the Elite 8. Barring injury or other strange circumstances, I see those teams as close to 'matchup proof' through the first couple games as you can get. Of course, a lot of it depends on how you are playing towards the end of the season.....injuries....and other things that can disrupt your team.

you all are crazy if you don't think IU will be in the elite 8.
