Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

NW goes 20 for 47 behind the arc in a rout. that includes 0-7 from shurna, who should be one of their better options. cats looking like a solid mid-big 10 team, even without coble. watch out next year...

next year they only really lose Nash.....get back Coble and a top-100 wing.........

if they don't make the tourney this year or next......don't know what to say.

i dont think they'll make the tournament this year. their non-conf is terrible, and they lost their only chance at a quality victory (butler). they can rip up North Carolina A&T, but what happens when you get a hand in those shooter's face? they'll be pretty good, but i don't expect anything higher than an 8th place finish this season for them. next season, you think they'd be good, but it's northwestern -- they always seem to find a way to be bad.

unfortunately you're probably right. but, having watched NW struggle against the likes of a NC A&T countless times...the current trend is exciting. they played pretty tough last year too...though ended up a bit physically drained by the time big 10 season concluded.

With Turner's injury, and Michigan and Illinois early struggles......penn state being so-so, iu being so-so, iowa being terrible.......

NW won at purdue and at msu last year.......

I wouldn't say they are doomed for 8th place.......

I'd love to see Northwestern make the tournament.

i've watched n'western a few times this season, and nothing about them is better than last year in my opinion. the only reason why they won at MSU and purdue were great performances from coble. they'll duke it out with IU and PSU for the 8/9 spot. Iowa is a firm #11.

i think the one thing we can all agree on is iowa's stranglehold on the 11th seed.

what would dr. tom davis say?

Well, they did beat the Gomers. Why isn't Scott Martin playing?

the gomers suck, and scott martin tore his ACL.

ND lost to Loyola Marymount at home on Saturday.

Torn ACL.....and i know he left.....but it's stupid to act like he couldn't be making Purdue EVEN better right now.....

he could legimately play behind JJ and spell hummel......and was better than bade as a freshman and would be a junior.
