Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

BTown says he is ours....
putting words in my mouth now aren't we.

if i'm not mistaken, i told everyone like a year ago when people said he was "a lock to UL" that it was up in the air. i obviously (let me restate) OBVIOUSLY don't know where he's going to go to school, but if I were guessing it's 50-50 between IU and UL. And Rick Pitino's current drama isn't helping much.

That's my two cents.
Well that one comment was obviously sarcasm. On several occasions though, you have made remarks implying that you thought IU had a MUCH better chance than other people were giving him. And they certainly weren’t a year ago. But like I said that was a long time ago, and a lot can change in that timeframe.

Teague to Purdue = Mike Pegram jumping off of a bridge

Unfortunately, that won't happen.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I don't see it happening.

But it would be amazing if Teague picked IU. This program needs some good news.

He's prolly a one and done......no offense to IU, but wouldn't a one and done player wanna go somewhere with a big market and have a shot at the final four your only year?

If he was a 3-4 year player, IU i think would have a pretty good shot, but I don't see a kid coming to an NIT team for one season.

if IU gets some of its targets for 2011, teague could follow suit if he believes IU will be good enough.

Teague, Creek, Watford and a Big man would be a decent squad

If he's going to make a decision in the next couple of months, we better start making some headway then.

You never know... some one and dones think they can carry a team.

Personally, I don't think he'll come here, but I'm pretty indifferent either way. If he comes, he'll be fun to watch for a year, but we won't be good enough to win a championship, so he'll just set us back a bit by restructuring the offense to his strengths for a year.

this all sounds great...but it's all also starting to sound a bit dreamy to me...

first some of these guys have to come to b'town, and secondly (and more importantly) they have to perform...
