Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Think he was back east watching moses abraham?

Reports today saying he got an offer from Crean. Abraham is from DC, so it could be that Crean went to watch him.

4 star 6'9 forward....would be nice but i doubt we are anywhere near a front runner

abraham might be a good call on the focus of crean's sojourn...but i agree i can't see us having any realistic chance. g'town seems way out in front and maryland is also up there...if he wanted to stay around d.c. and then the usual suspects, i.e. UK, kansas, etc., are also reportedly jumping into the fray. but i like the profile of the dude. and hell, how can you not like a guy who plays the power forward position for an aau team called the d.c. assault...nice.

at this point in the race the only way i see us landing a meaningful big for next year (which crean and staff seem to be making a last ditch (desperate?) endeavor to do) is through the juco ranks or holding the scholly open for some other school to hit the skids or a coach leaves or something like that...we might be able to nick someone pretty decent then, though it would admittedly be a bit of a gamble.

If that's the case, then I applaud Crean for atleast going after a 4 star player with size. That is obviously what IU needs, and it's nice to see him going after those types of players even if IU has a .4% chance of actually getting him.
