Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Not that I need to incriminate myself anymore, but....

Why stop with music...I'm a big fan of the Twilight series, lol.

Was forced to go to the first one with my ex, and my 12 year old cousin asked me to take her for her birthday so I did, but I've thought they've both been really enjoyable. Looking forward to the 3rd and 4th ones as well
I would hate, but i have thoroughly enjoyed the Harry Potter series - both books and movies. Though i can say that i have never seen nor read twilight and i will most likely never do so.
I enjoyed the books. The movies were eh though for me. And I refuse to contribute in any way to the Twilight craze.
Never read the books, and going into the first movie, I thought it was going to suck. I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it compared to what I thought when I went in. In all honestly, I haven't talked to a grown man who's watched the movie (and I know several), that didn't think it was a good movie.

Seen 2 Harry Potter movies. Utterly hated them both with the very core of my soul.

What is the Twilight series?
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I haven't dulged into the Harry Potter stuff, as I think it looks completely retarded. Not to say that I wouldn't end up liking them to some extend, but I have no plans on ever watching one.

Save yourself and don't ask. Horrible movie. Have no desire to read the book either.

Vampire falls in love with human.
Wolfman falls in love with same human (go figure!)
And now for the kicker. The wolves and vampires didn't like each other to begin with! Who could have thought of such a brilliant and original story?

Sorry. The one I remember best was when people were getting turned into stone and no one knew what was going on. Harry ended up fighting a dragon in the basement and the phoenix bird saved someone's life. All the teachers were freaking out and thinking about closing the school because it was so dangerous. So what happens?

The little girl goes into the library and finds a book that says EXACTLY what is happening and how to solve it. I about shit my pants. The teachers that had been there for years and years and years and probably wrote most of those books in the library couldn't figure it out. But some bitch was just like, "oh hey, maybe we should check the library for a book that could explain this all."

I was furious. I am mad now just thinking about it.

Yeah. That may be a bit much for you when you combine it with the Hummel news today.

Good movie. Pretty sad too. Rachel McAdams is hot and we share a birthday. BTW dreach, I was talking about you not liking Twilight, not Harry Potter.

Of course it' terms of sadness, nothing compares to Marley & Me.

Fortunately for me, I only like things that are cool and make me a man.

Now where's that sarcasm guy at......

I didn't like the end of the Notebook and didn't find it sad. While they want everyone to think that the two died together, you know in reality one of them died first and the other was so grief stricken that their heart stopped. It's hardly the happy ending the movie tries to portray.
