Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

you could not have two additional all-conference players to fall back on.

You could have Tom Pritchard as your experienced interior presence.

Well, we didn't hire a known cheater that was destined to bring the program down, so it doesn't help.

This is cruel. We've done nothing to deserve this. IU did plenty to deserve its 15 wins.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

What's this UB everyone keeps referring to? Is it some kind of new television network?

The fuck is your problem? What did Tom Crean do to deserve it? What did the current players do to deserve it? How exactly do us as fans deserve it? Seriously sorry you guys lost Hummel, pretty sure IU fans have been ridiculously sympathetic and tried to be really nice about it. Our already shitty team lost its best player before the Big 10 season even started. Quit being a little bitch about it, this shit happens. Its part of the fucking game.

hahah, i just posted the following in another thread....it probably deserves to be here though.

Try to put things into perspective Cam. You weren't the Celtics and had your first pick die before he played a game, and your team didn't die during a plane crash. What happened to Robbie is unfortunate, but this stuff happens allllllll the time in sports. It's part of it.

Quit acting like God or whoever you believe in is trying to destroy your life through his hatred of Purdue basketball. Take your advice you just gave to Brum.

I'm on a high horse .....yet an IU poster makes light of HIS OWN TEAM and then you flip out on IU fans?

Get bent. Not a single IU poster has come over here and talked shit about Hummel's injury. Get a freakin sense of humor already.

Seriously there are two ways in which this injury could have been worse:

1) It had happened early in the season...in which case we probably wouldn't be in position for a 1 or 2 seed right now.

2) It happened the first week of the NCAA (or final wk of reg season)...giving the team little or no time to make adjustments.

As it stands, Painter and team have three weeks before the tourney starts, and we'll play at least four games between now and then. That's enough time to make the best adjustments possible.

Comparing the two situations is stupid.

IU is in the midst of a disaster for a reason. Its because its administration hired an idiot coach who was a cheater and recruited a bunch of idiots.

It sucks we lost Hummel, but trying to make us feel better because your team sucks as a direct result of your athletic department's imcompetence isn't going to make us feel better.
