Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I bet Pritchard's minutes go down next season. In fact, I guarantee it.

Tom Crean was then hired out of Marquette, where he made the tournament 4 times in 9 years, making the final 4 once on the back of Dwyane Wade and only winning one other tournament game in the other 8 years. Crean came to IU, recruited a bunch of players, had a flower pot thrown at him, was the reason for the opening of no less that 3 tanning parlors, began clapping like an idiot to appease fans, got addicted to twitter, and won 6 games (1 in the big ten) his first year.

Did anyone listen to the Tom Crean show today? I hear that a ton of people called up with great things to say about Crean. This makes me happy.

I can't stand it when i hear, "Tom Crean only got to the FF because Dwayne Wade was on the roster." Most final four teams are stacked with talent...that shouldn't go against the coach. Wade has consistently said how much of an impact Crean has had on him not just in college but in the pros. Shit, if Coach Cal makes it to the FF this year, will people be saying, "yeah, well, only because he had John Wall."

Fact remains, Crean's still a relatively young coach. He hasn't even finished one year with our program with his own players.

Times suck right now. People can say whatever they want, but I will always wear my cream and crimson on game day and attend as many games as I can. I can't wait for the NW game.

how can he hurt a team that loses all the time? how can he not be ready to play on a team that is not competetive and according to you all is building towards the next year? put him in the game it isnt going to be the difference between winning and losing and there is no better way to get a person ready than by putting him in the game and getting experience...
If he can't beat the likes of Capobianco and Pritchard in practice, exactly why should he be playing?

Every account I've heard has said that he has struggled in practice. What kind of message is sent to play him just to play him?

As has been said, I'd like to see him get five or so minutes..but at this point he's only played against scrubs in blowouts and he's still looked bad.
The message gets sent to Pritchard and others that their jobs are not safe.
Pritchard played 29 minutes per game last year, 20 1/2 per game this year. In the past 5 games, despite only being in foul trouble once, he's averaging sixteens minutes per game. He only played 10 minutes against Iowa.

His minutes have been declining.

In any case, I'd rather Elston was getting the extra minutes as opposed to Muniru.

Gene Keady had Glenn Robinson...and he carried them to a final four.

Oh, wait....

I think the fact remains...Bawa Muniru won't be a key component to this team down the stretch. Will he be a positive asset for us in the future for giving our guys some rest? Yeah, but I think this team will always be better with the likes of Elston, Capo, etc on the court. Bawa will develop, but he's not going to be our JJ.
