Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Surprised no one has brought this up yet. 8.8 earthquake in Chile (this is massive) and a potential tsunami on the way to Hawaii (should get there in an hour).

my thoughts to anyone that has family/friends in either of those regions.

Ditto.

Saw this earlier this morning. Tsunami warnings all over Hawaii as well. It may get much uglier before it gets better.

wow...im watching cnn right now. the guy that's being the anchor right now might be the biggest tool i've ever watched in news history. he's trying soooooooooooo hard to make this tsunami to seem like a 40 foot wave when it's really a 7 footer.

Wave should be hitting soon. The just detected a 27ft drop of a buoy 140 miles away. If the wave is moving 500mph it should be there in ~15 minutes.

i love how that whenever that chic starts talking he raises his hands and puts his fingers in her face as to shut her up, then he says, "yes, but, you need to understand the magnitude of this. this could be devastating."

This is awful. I'm watching CNN. I hope the minimal amount of damage happens to Hawaii.

Kanye West on this: "I'm sorry Chile and Hawaii, and I'ma let you finish, but Haiti was one of the best natural disasters of all time!"

too soon?

Boats should be fine as long as they are out far enough.
